          Description: Are you looking for a job that is great fun but is also challenging and rewarding? Join the dedicated, enthusiastic staff of the Upper Main Line Y's rapidly expanding Y-Knott Otters swim team. Under the guidance of the Ability Center Director and the Aquatics Director, this is a fun and competitive aquatics program for individuals with developmental challenges. The program provides an outlet where children are able to explore their abilities, develop skills and find within themselves the confidence to pursue their goals and open the door to a lifelong skill. All participants will be tested and assessed as to their ability and placement onto the team.

          This is a fun group of people and your opportunity to make a difference!

          Saturdays 1:30-4:00PM

          Qualifications: College Degree, BA/BS in Special Education, Social Work, Recreational and/or Physical Therapy or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
          Strong communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills, team leader, ability to take initiative when needed; ability to work with other staff and volunteers, enjoy working with individuals with developmental challenges (mental and / or physical challenges).
          First Aid and CPR/AED Certification
