          Nurse Auditor, Revenue Cycle
          Department: Revenue Cycle Integrity
          Schedule: Full-time
          Shift: Day shift
          Hours: 8:00 to 4:30
          Job Details:
          The Revenue Cycle Nurse Auditor will coordinate and finalize patient account audits, pre-screen patient medical records to recoup under/over-billing, and instruct/consult with hospital management and staff to resolve documentation and charging procedures.
          Education:
          Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,Bachelor’s degree is preferred

           Licensure as registered nurse through the State Board of Nursing,AAHAM certification CPAT preferred

          Experience:
          Minimum of 4 years clinical, direct patient care required
          Knowledge of ICD-9, CPT-4 and HCPCS coding, as well as CMS-1500 and UB-04 forms required
          Experience as a nurse auditor with a hospital or audit firm preferred
          Medical chart auditing required
          Familiarity with regulatory AHCA guidelines preferred
          Knowledge of patient registration, charge capture, coding requirements, billing and adjudication of accounts
          Experience using healthcare web-based applications
