This position is responsible for all aspects of software application development and maintenance including business analysis, technical design, software development, quality assurance, implementation and support of internal and external facing web applications built on the Microsoft technology stack..and.nbsp; The Senior Software Developer translates business requirements into system specifications and prepares design documentation and test plans consistent with industry standard software development lifecycle methodologies..and.nbsp;This involves:*Conduct design reviews with business unit leaders and system champions, providing guidance, technical solution development and feasibility analysis*Develop new and/or enhance existing business applications including analysis, design, prototyping, coding, training and documentation*Work with IT and business test groups to support quality and acceptance testing*Communicate and document status to project leadership*System maintenance including bug-fixes and minor updates*Adherence to established software development life cycle methodology and internal controls governing Change ManagementREQUIREMENTS*Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area is required*Minimum of 5 years experience as a developer (lead developer a plus)*Minimum of 4 years experience with ASP.NET/ VB.NET*Minimum of 3 years experience writing SQL Server scripts for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 preferred*Minimum of 2 years experience with reporting solutions built on Microsoft Reporting Services preferred*Must have experience with .NET 4.0 Framework, XML, AJAX, HTML*Must have experience working in object oriented programming using Visual Studio 2010 IDE*Experience developing complex applications in a team environment preferred*Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server for source control management preferred*Experience with JQuery or similar technologies*Experience developing solutions in Microsoft WPF and Silverlight a plus*Experience administrating and developing custom SharePoint 2010 solutions a plus*Experience with Clinical Trials industry is a plus*Strong ability to design and work with n-tier architectures or MVVM patterns along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA)*Strong written and oral communication skillsQualified candidate MUST email the resume to HR for consideration.
