Sr. Java Software Engineer (Full-time)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 plus excellent benefits!

We are currently searching for our best client in Philadelphia, PA.The company is a rapidly growing business specializing in the development of innovative software solutions.

Job Requirements:

·Lead project teams and development activities

·Analysis, design, and development of robust commercial applications

·Integration of applications in a J2EE/Windows/JBOSS/SQL environment

·Trouble shooting of system and applications problems

·Ability to identify performance issues and make recommended solutions

·Mentor less senior team members in best practices in design and development

·Must have right to work in the USA

·No relocation offered

Candidate Technical Requirements:

·5-10 years of experience developing Core Java Applications in a J2EE environment

·BS (MS preferred) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Development or Engineering

·Excellent communications skills and record of accomplishments

·Must have ability to write and design from technical specifications/Use Cases

·Must have strong architecture and design modeling experience using UML

·Must have strong application and system integration skills, including trouble shooting environment problems with browsers, networking, application servers, and databases

·Must have substantial knowledge of object-oriented programming development (especially using Threads, Generics, Patterns, Eclipse, JBOSS, and JDBC)

·Must have solid and extensive working knowledge SQL

·Should have knowledge of MVC frameworks (e.g. Spring, Struts)

·Should have knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping or frameworks (e.g., Hibernate)

·Must have worked on at least 3 full lifecycle projects in a leadership position

Desired Requirements:

·Team player with ability to work with and mentor a high performance team

·Strong ability to meet schedule and quality commitments

·Ability to come up with creative and innovative solutions

·Strong problem solving skills

·Should have some UI experience (e.g., using AJAX/RichFaces, SWING)

·Should be familiar with test tools (e.g., JUnit) and monitors (e.g., JMeter, JProbe)
