          Kforce Senior Technical Specialist (TSQL) in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania United States

          A client of Kforce is seeking an experienced Technical Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA.

          Responsibilities:
          * Design, write, modify, test and maintain programs, scripts and modules to meet changing business needs
          * Prepare test data and implement test scripts
          * Develop and publish database, program, script and test specifications
          * Design, develop, test and implement solutions to problems involving multiple technologies, with direction, utilizing advanced specialized technical skills
          * Develop logical and physical data models and/or other types of designs for relatively complex technical solutions to system or business problems
          * Keep abreast of advances and developing trends and standards in technology
          * Initiate communication with other lead technical staff as needed to facilitate the most effective and efficient solution
          * Serve as a technical mentor to department staff who are less experienced in the relevant technologies
          * Manage design, development, testing and implementation of a technical solution
          * Establish and administrate standards and conventions in relevant technologies
          * Participate in task estimation and planning
          * Provide day-to-day technical direction to staff relative to the technical aspects of a project or support function
          * Maintain and develop a suite of client-server applications and reports that support business needs
