Junior Product Analyst
Our client is looking for a Junior Product Analyst in Wayne, PA!
Please Note: This position will probably have up to 30% travel.
This will likely be in spurts from time to time and not necessarily all at once.
Product Analyst, Recovery Services The Product Analyst, Recovery Services will provide technical and analytical expertise in responding to complex requests for the support of Product Management activity during product launch and ongoing lifecycle management. This role is expected to participate in customer interviews and account team activities to gather product feedback and directional input for product development, as well as provide reporting/tracking oversight on operational issues, issue resolution and solution positioning challenges. The Product Analyst is an individual contributor role, but will be expected to interact with and report out on cross functional team activity. To be successful in this role the Analyst must be outgoing, enjoy working with numbers, and get satisfaction from seeing a process through from beginning to end. Analytical skills are required to evaluate data, identify patterns, and project outcomes based on variable scenarios. Oral and written communication, presentation, and listening skills will all be very valuable in this role. Responsibilities: • Closely follow all implementations and track/document any operational/deployment issues and bugs. • Work with Product SWAT team to capture details on identified solution proposal service exceptions and track through resolution. • Track pipeline for all Managed Backup Services opportunities and identify those with a high probability to close. • Provide support to customer migration efforts (form legacy backup services to newly launched service) o Work with account teams to ensure all required solution documentation is available for customer discussions (as needed) o Report out to Product Management on solution documentation gaps • Track pre vs. post migration solution sizing; Analyze how close were our sizing predictions, why did they vary, and recommendations for how to improve estimates. • Coordinate with Business Analyst team to ensure all closed deals are captured for Product KPI (Key Performance Indicator) tracking. • Participate in customer interviews to gather feedback on solution proposals, service delivery and overall customer experience. • Provide support for solution pricing exceptions and track approved exceptions. Qualifications: • Demonstrable experience in quickly learning IT solutions with some exposure/exeperince with storage/backup services preferred (Symantec NetBackup, NetApp, Avamar, etc.) • Previous experience delivering IT Services or working in an IT Operations function is strongly preferred. • MS Excel Proficiency required (e.g., macros, lookups, pivot tables, formulas, etc.) • Ability to manipulate large, complex quantities of data • Proficiency in other Windows based applications Word, and PowerPoint • Must be self-motivated, team player, and able to immediately contribute to a fast paced, deadline intensive environment • Ability to efficiently multi-task and work under pressure • Great interpersonal, verbal and written skills, with executive presence • Strong collaboration and cross functional partnership skills • Undergraduate degree in technical or business discipline required.
